1st Duston Girls' Brigade

The 1st Duston Girls' Brigade was formed in 1934. We are always pleased to welcome new members from the age of 5 years. Badges are presented annually at an Awards Evening which usually takes place in July. The girls mix regularly with others from local GB companies in social activities and, apart from the youngest section, attend an indoor camp each year. We hold many fund-raising events, both for the company and other charities which are supported by the church congregation. The Girls' Brigade motto is to "Seek, Serve and Follow Christ" and this we try to do in all our activities.
