Poppy Crosses Ceremony in Abington Square Memorial Garden

A ceremony to lay poppy crosses in the Abington Square Memorial Garden will take place on Friday, 26 October at 11am.
Representatives from the Royal British Legion and the Western Front Association will join the Mayor of Northampton, Councillor Tony Ansell, and the Lord Lieutenant of Northamptonshire to read the Ode of Remembrance and hear the last post bugle calls, before observing a two minute silence... Poppy Pinning Sessions

Poppy Pinning Sessions

We got off to a great start on Friday, pinning the poppies on.

You can drop into the café at Pendle Road anytime between 9 and 3pm, Monday 15th to Wednesday 17th to help pin some on - no need to let us know.

Further drop in sessions at St Luke's Centre, Main Road as follows but please let us know if you are coming to any of these;

Bloom Awards 2018

Bloom Awards 2018

We did it! So very pleased for all involved to say that Duston Parish Council and The Grow Together Allotment both received a Gold Award. The judge praised the 'great community effort' and that is absolutely what it is all about. Thanks again to each and every one of you that took the time to help, we feel inspired to go for Bloom 2019 and hope that even more of you can join us!

Thefts from Motor Vehicles

Theft From Motor Vehicles (TFMV's) has been on the rise for the last four months. An Operation has been put into place by Northampton Neighbourhood team to combat this type of crime. This Operation will include a mix of enforcement action being taken by local officers as well as educating and helping potential victims.
