Northampton Express Bowls Club are hosting an open day to showcase the sport of bowls & the facilities available to anyone who is interested in giving bowls a try. Bowls can offer plenty, ranging from a great social environment right through to the competative side of the sport. The club has had lots of success during its existence. Do you know a mature driver (aged 60+) who lives in Northamptonshire and is reliant on being able to drive? Northamptonshire Safer Roads Alliance has a FREE roadshow on the 5 May 2022 at Police Headquarters in Northampton.

The Mature Drivers Roadshow is aimed at drivers 60+ and will cover all different aspects of driving. There will be a short talk and then plenty of time to meet informally with many stand holders. Free advice will be available on car adaptions, eyesight, how prescription medications may affect, and much more.

The Grow Together Allotment

The Grow Together Allotment continued to grow during 2021, with veg, flowers, and volunteers! Many new faces joined Jenny to help tend to the allotment which was lovely to see. We also had visits from our youth provision to help with various jobs.We were able to distribute 'Souper bags' to some of our residents around Duston during the harvest period. All were very grateful to receive them.A huge thank you to anyone that attended The Grow Together Allotment and we hope to see you all in 2022.
