Duston Parish Council working in partnership with St Luke's PPG are pleased to announce our next FREE virtual wellbeing pop up on Living with Endometriosis and the Menopause by Mr Clive Aldrich Consultant Gynaecologist from BMI Three Shires. The virtual talk will take place on Thursday 18th February 2021 from 2 pm - 3.15 pm.

Duston Food Bank

Northampton Food Bank provides emergency food to people in crisis.Duston URC is open as a distribution point on Fridays and Saturdays 10am-12am (not bank holidays) for people who have a voucher from a referral agency.Situated opposite the Bakery in Duston Village, we are open on Saturday mornings to provide ready-packed groceries. We also have household products, personal hygiene items, nappies/wipes, baby food and a treats box from which you may choose additional items. PLEASE if you need some help, come and see us. You will be assured of a confidential, warm and friendly welcome. If you know of anyone who could do with a helping hand, please tell them about us. During the current pandemic, we follow COVID guidelines, so please wear a mask. One person at a time will be admitted, unless you have children with you, in which case you may bring them in with you. A one-way system is in place.We are also a collection point for donations if you would like to donate food or other items to Northampton Food Bank. Please leave donations in the red collection boxes in the church. For a list of items that are needed, please visit https://www.restorenorthampton.org.uk/ Donations may be brought to Church on Saturday and Monday mornings between 10 and noon. We currently need long-life milk, tinned plate pies/tinned meat, tinned vegetables (large and small). large packets of cereal, tinned fruit/tinned rice puddings. We cannot accept fresh produce.If you are in need of a voucher please visit the website of Northampton Food Bank for a list of referral agencies who can assess your need and offer support.We are unable to give out food parcels at any other time, but if you have a voucher there are distribution points open in the town throughout the week.For details of other distribution points please visit the website
